Needlelace Butterfly

At the beginning of the month I did a day school in needlelace. I'd never tried this before, but it's really quite fun.

I started on this butterfly:

My stitches, especially the pea stitch on the upper wing aren't exactly like they should be (round) - but then the point of learning is do improve. So hopefully it will get better. And it still looks ok.

I haven't actually stitched on it since the day school as I've had all my ornaments and things to do. But I will get back to it.
